Oh my god! What is wrong with this world! Is it still inhabited by humans or are we some dark, very dark versions of the people who once used to inhabit our dear mother earth? Pick up the newspaper and all you get to read is about deaths or rapes or violence or anything negative! C’mon billions of years of evolution and what has it boiled down to? Nature created the most civilized living being on earth (neglecting the belief of some scientists who believe in existence of other highly developed life forms or their other friends who believe we all may be a part of computer simulation of some highly developed race) for what? So that they could build up highly sophisticated weapons and kill each other! If the plan had been to finish up all life on earth then why bother with so much development!
Let’s look at the situation locally. In India, people kill other people for various trivial issues. Turn the pages of any national daily and you are bound to find at least one article concerning a dowry death and if not that some drunken people feel it is their duty to fill up the pages of newspapers with their ‘One time wonder act’ of getting high and killing one of their companions or some fresh innocent scapegoat. Honour killings, violent rapes, hit-and –run cases, and the most amazing of all beating the parantha-wala to death because he doesn’t serve you parantha at 4 a.m. in the morning! Ah, I always feel so proud about the land of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. Never behind in anything!
Sarcasm aside, I love my country dearly but there are some intolerable aspects associated with our beloved Hindustan. But let’s not put all the blames on our motherland. We need to globalize this article. The world is in turmoil. First it was the Vietnam war in 70s, then the invasion ( self-proclaimed help) of Iraq by ‘the always right’ US and quite recently the Ukraine-Russia struggle and now a days it’s the Israel-Palestine war that is rocking the world of media( apart from Ian Somerhalder going out with Nikki Reed). Loss of so many perfectly healthy lives to satisfy the demands of extremists, political ambitions of money hungry evil souls and the worst of all to prove one caste/religion/creed is better than the other! Nothing makes me sicker than this. Seeing pictures of toddlers all covered in blood, badly injured with hardly any possibility of survival, young men and women fighting to save their lives instead of becoming their countries assets have become a daily chore. I don’t know the importance of all these fights but is it worth so many lives? I realize all I have written in this article are plain questions but that is all I have. I don’t have any solution for all these problems, I’m just a college student studying engineering wondering what is the use of me spending my time toiling in a college while the world is planning to get destroyed! I’m a religious person but not that conservative types, by default programmed to follow Hinduism and I can recall something about this era being the “Kalyug” and that lord Vishnu will be born as kalki and he’ll be the destroyer of mankind. I feel the time is right, the iron is hot, hit it bhagwaanji.

If we are the “flat people” it makes sense that the multi-dimensional Creator God entered our four-dimensional world by becoming a human being. He revealed himself to us. But why would God do that?
